015 - My September 2025 Beatport Favorites
I am very grateful (especially as losing my record collection in 2005-6) to beatport for allowing me to continue collecting music, albeit digitally, which, of course, has allowed me to continue my DJ Mixes and also curate Tha Werd Sessions on mixcloud. During the month of September, it has become customary for me to collect my favorite tracks at the moment and muster up a playlist of sorts. Perhaps this makes me feel more connected to those who train-spot my tracks and copy my mixes (this happened to me in college a lot). I never understood that back in the day because the hunt for a hot record to play was half the fun of the whole process.
