071 - Baptism (Full Circle)
Getting Baptized at Lakewood Church and by Joel Osteen.
Today felt like alignment. Not forward, not backward, just exact. Standing in the water at Lakewood Church with Joel Osteen leading the baptism, I realized that nothing was wasted. Not the setbacks, not the late nights, not the rejections, not the pressure to become something I was never meant to be. For a long time, I thought growth meant accumulation, more knowledge, more status, more wins, but today was not about adding anything. It was about letting go. Letting go of the weight of needing everything to make sense, letting go of timelines that were never really mine, letting go of the idea that every closed door was a failure. Some doors close because you are being redirected, some because you are being refined, and some because you are being called somewhere higher. This was not a performance, not content, not strategy. This was commitment. A reset. A decision to move forward with clarity instead of noise, with purpose instead of pressure, with faith instead of force. Full circle does not mean you ended where you started. It means you finally understand why you started, and from here, everything moves differently.
For those watching the full service from Lakewood Church with Joel Osteen, you can jump to 34:00 to see our baptism moment below. This wasnโt just something we attended, it was something we stepped into fully, and it truly made our year. Baptism, at its core, is a public declaration of an inward decision, a moment of surrender, renewal, and alignment. It represents letting go of what was and stepping forward into what is meant to be, not perfectly, but intentionally. If you watch nothing else, watch that moment. It says more than words ever could.
My Testimony today:
Today is a full-circle moment for me.
For over 20 years, Iโve been listening to Joel Osteen, and now Iโm here at Lakewood Church getting baptized.
Iโm the founder of Clean It Up dot space. My mission is to clean up space debrisโฆ but I realized something deeper.
The cleanup had to start with me first. So today, Iโm letting go of the past, the ego, and anything not aligned with Godโs purpose.
And Iโm wearing this โVictoryโ hat for Nipsey Hussle, because victory isnโt just successโฆ It is alignment.
This is my reset. This is my commitment.
This is where the real work begins.
You can say what you want about Nipsey Hussle, but this track played a role in getting me here. Right Hand to God carried a certain conviction, a sense of accountability and alignment that stayed with me. In its own way, it pushed me closer to this moment.
